The Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta, also known as FIJI or Phi Gam, has 107 chapters and 7 colonies at the foremost colleges and universities of the United States and Canada.
Phi Gamma Delta is dedicated to developing men of character within the academic setting, with the aim that they will become fully contributing members of society. In pursuit of this mission, the Fraternity promotes five core values:
Friendship, which brings us together and is the basis of our brotherhood.
Knowledge, the primary reason our members attend college and the key to a fuller, richer life.
Service, in recognition of our obligation to give back to the campus and community that foster our growth.
Morality, our commitment to do what is right in all our relationships
Excellence, the achievement of the full potential of the chapter and the individual members.
Phi Gamma Delta has partnered with Dr. Ken Blanchard (Cornell 1961) to create a leadership development program custom-designed for our fraternity and our members. Taking the Lead is based on nearly 35 years of research on situational leadership. Taking the Lead is a series of educational modules that are available to our members and chapters to help them achieve success in fraternity, college, career and life endeavors.
The Fraternity is looking for scholars, leaders, athletes and gentleman to become founding fathers of the Colony at UTD. Now is the time to cement your legacy at the University and create the type of fraternity that you are looking for. Men of all classes are eligible for membership. There are numerous scholarship opportunities available now and in the future. Any man achieving a 3.0 G.P.A. while pledging the Fraternity during any semester will receive $250 cash. Maybe you haven't been interested in Greek Life before and haven't found what you are looking for in other fraternities, or maybe you've never researched fraternity life.
